Our commitment

Sustainability at CabinPick

Maritime accommodation has a smaller footprint than most travel. We're working to make ours smaller still — through the boats we list, the hosts we partner with, and the choices we make as a company.

Hosts we partner with

Every CabinPick vessel is host-operated, not corporate fleet. Hosts pay attention to fuel, waste, and local rules in a way that scale operators rarely do. Where possible we feature vessels with electric or hybrid propulsion, solar onboard, and shore-power hookups.

Stays, not voyages

Most CabinPick bookings are moored stays — sleeping on the water at a marina or quiet anchorage — not motoring crossings. That means a typical CabinPick night uses dramatically less fuel than the equivalent hotel-plus-flight trip. We surface "stay-only" and "shore-power-available" filters so guests can choose the lowest-impact option.

How we operate

CabinPick is a small team running on cloud infrastructure with no offices to heat or cool. We do not print marketing material. Our analytics, email, and payment stack is chosen to be efficient rather than cheap. We're a tiny emitter — and we'd rather be honest about that than buy offsets we can't audit.

This page will get more concrete.

We're building the data layer to publish per-booking estimates of fuel use, shore-power vs generator nights, and similar measurable signals. When we have numbers we trust, they'll be here.
